Pekada business update

Pekada business update

We often face uncertainty, both in life and in business. The current environment with COVID-19 is ever-evolving and has caused us to rethink the way we structure our workdays at Pekada for the coming weeks. Planning is in our DNA, and we are confident that our business continuity plan is robust enough to ensure we can continue to provide our services effectively through these testing conditions. Don't worry, we are still very much open for business, and possibly the best way to describe it is, "business as unusual".

Changes effective immediately:

  • Our admin team will be all working from home until further notice.
  • Financial advisers will also be working from home but will communicate with their clients directly to manage/schedule any required face to face meetings.

We have planned our entire business and systems to allow our team to work anywhere with merely a laptop and internet connection. Video & phone conferencing is available for all meetings via Zoom video conferencing. Zoom is a free and convenient means of communicating with us in a secure, encrypted environment. Good internet connections prevailing you may not even notice the difference.

We ask that common sense is used around face to face meetings. We have people at higher risk in our lives (as I’m sure most people do), so please consider our above digital meeting options if you are showing any signs of cold/flu.

We are not wanting to create panic ala #toiletpapergate, but rather see this as a sensible approach to reduce risks to our people and the community.

Please be assured that we will keep you informed of any significant developments. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact your Financial Adviser.

Take care of yourself and eachother out there!

Regards
Pete Pennicott
